Carmen Basagoiti Joins Harmon as President

Carmen Basagoiti has joined Harmon, Spain’s first consultancy specialising in non-market strategies, as President. She will lead the firm alongside Jaime Olmos, Founder and CEO, with whom she previously worked in a shared professional capacity.

With more than 20 years of experience as an executive and board member, Basagoiti joins Harmon to accelerate the firm’s growth, strengthen its advisory capabilities for business leaders, and position it as the leading consultancy in corporate affairs.

Harmon’s new president sits on the Board of Directors of Faes Farma and is a member of the executive boards of Dircom and ACG Global – Association for Corporate Growth. Basagoiti was a Partner and Head of Financial Communications at Kreab for 20 years and served as Managing Partner of its Spanish operations between 2017 and 2020. She previously worked at Comunicación Empresarial (now Porter Novelli – Omnicom), Cemex, and Schroders Investment Bank, and was also an Independent Director at Vértice 360º.

With Basagoiti’s arrival, Harmon consolidates a leadership team composed of Jaime Olmos (Founder), Eduardo Madina (Strategy Partner), Manuel de la Fuente (Public Affairs Partner), Borja Bergareche (Partner for Communication, Innovation, and Corporate Leadership), and Francisco Calderón (Corporate Affairs Partner).
