We arrived unhurriedly, yes. We arrived when others had already arrived, spoken, and perhaps even moved on to something else. But we arrived this way for a good reason: we needed time to absorb the news, to look at them from every possible angle, to analyse them with that almost obsessive devotion to context that defines the non-market prophets. What defines us, in other words. To understand rather than react. Because understanding — like almost everything worthwhile — takes a little more time.

It seems we are something in the world of PR advisors in M&A transactions.

 

01 We have entered the European top 15 by number of transactions according to MergerMarket.

02 In Spain, we moved from fourth to second place by number of deals, with 46 advised transactions, 19 more than in 2024, according to MergerMarket.

03 We lead de TTRData ranking by volume of transactions advised, with a total of 51 deals for an aggregate value 5.818 million euros. We hold first place by volume and second place by number of M&A transactions.

 



We’ll take that, because what defines us as well is asking why a 9.5/10 and not a 10.

Being second is not a problem but an advantage that is hard to explain in a ranking: we have less pressure and we can carefully choose our movements without stepping into certain puddles. Of course, we want to be first — naturally — we don’t want to be the “runner-up of the Falklands War,” as that genius once said. But neither are we going to feign anguish for not arriving earlier if arriving better remains a perfectly reasonable option.

And as for rankings, what can we say: they watch us more than we watch them. They’re fine to hang on the wall, to post on LinkedIn and to reassure the insecures, but that’s not where what truly matters happens. What truly matters happens when a client decides to come back, to recommend us, or to stay a little longer. That doesn’t score on any list, but interestingly, it’s the only thing that ultimately counts.
