Harmon, Spain\u2019s first consultancy specialising in non-market strategies, has also become the first professional services firm in the country to implement a completely free organisational work model. Based on flexibility, responsibility, and autonomy, this model allows the company\u2019s nearly 60 employees to work whenever, however, and wherever they choose.<\/p>\n
To make this model possible, Harmon is introducing a series of measures aimed at improving productivity and time management, promoting work\u2013life balance, and building a professional project that attracts top talent.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom the beginning, we envisioned Harmon as a collective project\u2014a hive mind of free, diverse, talented, and healthily irreverent professionals. To make that vision a reality, we\u2019ve committed to bold organisational measures that help us deliver a distinctive work experience and excellent service to our clients,\u201d explains Jaime Olmos<\/strong>, CEO and founder of the firm.<\/p>\n Working hours are entirely flexible: each person defines their schedule according to their own needs, those of their clients, and those of their teams. The company\u2019s new offices\u2014located on Calle Serrano in Madrid\u2014are open 24 hours a day to be used as needed. To ensure effective team coordination, internal meetings and synchronous work are concentrated between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Harmon\u2019s roadmap also allows employees to work from anywhere in the world, either temporarily or, in some cases, permanently.<\/p>\n \u201cEach of us can decide when to work from home and when to come to the office, with no minimum or maximum level of in-person presence. In fact, I live and work in Gambia and travel to Madrid periodically when my projects require it,\u201d says Alejandro Peral<\/strong>, Director of Trends at Harmon.<\/p>\n \u201cThis summer, I worked remotely from two different places\u2014several days in northern Spain and several from my family home in Serbia,\u201d adds Angelina Radovic<\/strong>, Financial Communications Consultant.<\/p>\n \n The consultancy has also introduced the Recharge Harmon Day<\/strong>\u2014one Friday off per month to recharge.
