With flexible hybrid models, business productivity rises and employee engagement improves. At the same time, the greater the flexibility, the more valuable collective experience in the office becomes. These were among the reflections shared during the discussion forum organised on Wednesday by <em data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"619\">Harmon<\/em> and <em data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"633\">zityhub<\/em>, focused on the value of workplace flexibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"1186\">The event, held at Harmon\u2019s Madrid headquarters, forms part of the activities of <em data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"774\">BeFlex<\/em>, a platform promoted by <em data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"808\">zityhub<\/em> to create a Spanish ecosystem for research and knowledge-sharing on flexible work models. Its aim is to foster dialogue on best practices and strengthen connections of value among BeFlex member companies. According to the movement\u2019s data, workplace flexibility is the most valued benefit among employees in Spain and is already a widespread reality across many organisations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1610\">The roundtable, moderated by <em data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1230\">Paula Gal\u00e1n<\/em>, Head of Culture and People at Harmon\u2014one of the first professional services firms in Spain to adopt a fully flexible model\u2014included contributions from <em data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1399\">Cristina Arbej<\/em> (People &amp; Culture Country Lead, Celonis), <em data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1459\">Jos\u00e9 Luis Risco<\/em> (Partner, Talent Leader, EY Spain), <em data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1510\">Mikel Zahino<\/em> (Director of People, SENER), and <em data-start=\"1544\" data-end=\"1559\">Zobeida Dub\u00e9n<\/em> (Head of Talent, Culture &amp; Diversity, NTT Data).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1793\">Participants shared insights and recommendations on adapting and optimising work dynamics and leveraging flexible models to enhance innovation and engagement within organisations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"2159\">During the session, <em data-start=\"1815\" data-end=\"1833\">Borja Bergareche<\/em>, Partner for Corporate Communication and Leadership at Harmon, noted that \u201cone of the keys to the successful implementation of Harmon\u2019s 100% flexible model\u2014highly rated in internal surveys\u2014has been building, from the outset, a collective professional project with a strong people-centred culture as its gravitational core.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2467\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Meanwhile, <em data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2187\">\u00c1ngel Serrano<\/em>, Co-founder and CEO of <em data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2220\">zityhub<\/em>, underlined the importance of flexibility in today\u2019s professional environment: \u201cFlexibility enables organisations and their people to adopt a more humanistic model of work; it has evolved from being a privilege to becoming a workplace necessity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Madrid, 14 February 2025.
