Harmon has already travelled twice around the Sun. And though that may sound like a lot, to us it still feels like the beginning. That\u2019s why we want to share with you a reflection on principles.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re proud of many things\u2014and we\u2019ve learned many more. When asked what we\u2019ve done best, the answer is clear: bringing together more than seventy brilliant minds in this adventure.<\/p>\n

We were born to define the boundaries of the non-market<\/em>, to change the way consultancy is done, and above all, to help improve society through corporate advisory.<\/p>\n

More than an adventure, it was an entelechy<\/em>\u2014an idea brought to life. So, when we charted the company\u2019s course, we knew we needed something more: a way to do it. We created a manifesto.<\/p>\n

To build, compile, and affirm the behaviours that give shape to our principles. A guide for how to look into the abyss of doing things.<\/p>\n

We are as obsessed with our culture as with our service\u2014because culture is<\/em> part of the service. How we do things defines who we are.<\/p>\n

    We challenge by default.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    We believe in creating.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    We tell each other the truth, whether we like it or not.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    We are free to work where, when, and how we choose.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    We are our own bosses. Let\u2019s not disappoint ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    We never take talent for granted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    This is an ego-free space.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  9. \n

    Not everyone fits in at Harmon.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  10. \n

    The company\u2019s principles come before\u2014and will always come before\u2014the business.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Two years in. We don\u2019t think about endings, because we\u2019re still at the beginning. And in this case, if you don\u2019t like our principles, we\u2019re sorry to say\u2014we have no others.<\/p>\n
